The Town and Village of Lima are seeking a Full Time Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Officer

The Town and Village of Lima are seeking a Full Time Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Officer.  This is a 32 hour per week job with benefits.  Current NYS Code Enforcement Officer Certification and High School graduation or GED are required. Work experience in a construction related field is desirable.   Must have strong communication skills, computer proficiency with word processing, the ability to interpret zoning laws and property maintenance codes and the ability to read site plans, maps and surveys.  Valid New York State driver's license is required. NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Meeting of the Joint Planning Board of Town & Village of Lima scheduled for August 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. has been changed to August 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Hall, 7329 East Main Street, Lima, NY.  The Comprehensive Plan Review Subcommittee has also been rescheduled and will meet at 6:00 p.m. prior to the August 22nd Planning Board Meeting. Lima's Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display

Come to Lima's Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display!  Wednesday July 4th in Mark Tubbs Park.  VFW Post 26 will be selling Hot Dogs & Drinks starting at 6pm.  Fireworks start at 9:30pm.  Bring your blanket or chairs & come early to secure your spot.  Volleyball gear welcome.  Fireworks are sponsored by the Town and Village of Lima, see you there!
